About Community Development

The Community Development Division serves the citizens of Georgetown by ensuring that building and development occurs in a safe and organized manner. The division consists of two main departments, Planning & Development, Inspection Services and contains functional groups such as Code Enforcement, Housing, etc. that monitor and enforce the adopted long-range plans and health and safety codes.
